The Dana-Thomas House is located nearby (about 40 minutes north) in Springfield. This is a great example of Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture and definitely worth the trip. It was recently closed under the Blagojevich administration and then reopened in April under the Quinn administration. It's located at 301 E. Lawrence Avenue. Photography is allowed outside but not inside.
